J.B. Marine began sponsoring soccer
teams in 1981. In 1985, the club was incorporated as a separate not-for-profit
organization and has grown through the years to its present 34 teams in Saint
Louis, Springfield MO, and Illinois. In 2006, J.B. Marine SC became the first
and only premier youth soccer organization to develop players and teams
spanning nearly 250 miles and 2 states. |

The club is founded on the philosophy
that competitive sports, and soccer in particular, serve a useful purpose in
the development of our youth. In the proper environment, soccer teaches
teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and other positive qualities. The winning
of numerous championships is an outgrowth of this philosophy.
